Day 23 - Osan

Osan was a great time and a great show... I ran into a Chicano brother from La Habra!!! Though he graduated in the class of 2000 - we felt a common bond and even took a picture together! The party was lively and afterwards, but we didn't have enough time to stick around and enjoy it - since our schedule had us driving back to Seoul...

Day 24 - Camp Casey

After about 3 or four shows of each time getting better and better, Camp Casey was a lighter crowd than we were getting used to... though we had a good set, our energy was a bit low too... nonetheless, we did have some die hard fans that made it a point to let us know how much they appreciated us being there and thats what really counts with each show we do...

Day 25 - CRC - Camp Red Cloud

I have to say... this was our final show in Korea and what a show it was... We went out in peak form on an outdoor stage with a very enthusiastic crowd that was ready to let loose and dance!!! The stage set up included an excellent sound team that worked along with us and we even made some last minute adjustments and included a couple of dance contests during our our sets and Esperanza, a military talent also came up and sang three Alicia Keys songs in great form!!! The Cammander of the Garrison presented me a coin and spoke to me about how important it was that we were there and I inn turn expressed how much of an honor it was for me to be there as well... and like they say at CRC "Second to none - Fight tonight!" The troops and The Escovedo Project shared in a common title this night when all the stars were lined up just right! 2ND TO NONE BABY!!!

Day 26 - Leaving Korea

Tired from the night before... We had a long day before us... Flying out of Incheon and into Osaka was supposed to be a couple of hours and of course the usual hassle of checking in with all of our gear... Turns out we were supposed to have a connecting flight and all our gear was supposed to transfer to another playing while we waited a few hours to catch our flight to Tokyo... That was a last minute surprise and a breakdown in communication, all the while one of guys was having trouble with immigration and getting into the country period! Well all things happen for a reason I guess... Since our guy was up getting grilled and filling out paper work, someone noticed that all our gear was being stacked near one of the luggae belts. Had we just connected to our next flight - all of the gear would have just been sitting there - luggage too!!! Needless to say - we caught the mistake and our guy was released into Japan and it was all a happy ending! Though what was supposed to be a 2 hour flight and soon after check in at our next stop turned into a full day affair and we didn't end up getting to Camp fuji until 9 o'clock in the evening!!! g'nite...
